Sarah Epsom is a watercolour artist and illustrator who turned her passion for art into a successful small business of cards, prints and homeware in 2021 whilst on maternity leave from her job in TV. Her first range, Meliora, was a success and sold in shops throughout the country.

In June 2022, she received a commission from the UK's leading wetland and conservation charity, WWT, to paint and design a bespoke card range, displaying the diversity of insects and plants in UK wetlands. The bespoke card range, ‘Apricus' warmed by the Sun', is now available in stores across WWT sites throughout the UK. Sarah has since received further personal commissions in addition to working with the renowned homeware brand BlissHome.

In addition to Meliora, Sarah has produced four other successful ranges: Tropicus, Nativitatis (Christmas), Vita, and Oceanus. The Vita range is a collaboration with Work For Good supporting World Wildlife Fund, whereby 5% of all sales will be donated to the cause. The cards feature critically endangered species and those under threat. Sarah is committed to supporting charities with her work, and she plans to continue this work with future projects.

In April 2024 hosted a pop up in John Lewis with The Great Brand Exchange, the pop up was very successful and hopes to return in the future. It enabled Sarah to see how customers responded to her work first hand and to appreciate how her work was received first hand.

Sarah's work is characterised by its vibrant colours, detailed illustrations, and strong sense of movement. Her paintings often convey a sense of wonder and awe at the beauty of the natural world.
